Hello and welcome to our new project E-Learning Web Application. This applicaiton consists of two main projects. The first one is the server side project "Backend Project", And the second is the user interface project "UI Frontend Project". A full documentation for the project that describes everything inside the backend and frontend projects. The project is built with the latest technologies in both frontend and backend sides.
Project structure:
E-learning web application consists of two main projects:
Backend project (Asp.net core web api)
Frontend project (Angular project)
Backend project (Asp.net core web api):
Inside the backend section, I've implemented all the backend stuff details for example:
Database configurations
Authentication configurations
Authorization configurations
Third party services configurations
Application services configurations
Middlewares setup
Routing setup
Static files setup
And much more...
Backend technologies used:
C#: is a general-purpose, modern and object-oriented programming language pronounced as “C sharp”.
Asp.net core web api: API stands for Application Programming Interface. API is actually some kind of interface which is having a set of functions. These set of functions will allow programmers to acquire some specific features or the data of an application
Entity Framework Core: Entity Framework is an open-source object-relational mapper framework for .NET applications supported by Microsoft.
SQL: Structured Query Language or SQL is a standard Database language which is used to create, maintain and retrieve the data from relational databases.
JWT: A JSON web token(JWT) is JSON Object which is used to securely transfer information over the web(between two parties).
And much more...
I divided the backend application into three layers for easy access:
Web.API layer In this layer the controllers, extention methods, middlewares, resourses, services and much more are located.
Web.DataAccess layer In this layer the migrations files, repository setup, database context main class and much more are located.
Web.Models layer In this layer the models, static files, data transfer object classes (DTOs) and much more are located.
Frontend project (Asp.net core web api):
Inside the frontend section, I've implemented all the frontend stuff details for example:
Interceptors configurations
Guards configurations
Shared modules
Packages manager
Reusable components
Static layouts
Routing setup
Third party services configurations
And much more...
Frontend technologies used:
HTML: stands for HyperText Markup Language. It is used to design web pages using a markup language.
CSS:Cascading Style Sheets, fondly referred to as CSS, is a simply designed language intended to simplify the process of making web pages presentable. CSS allows you to apply styles to web pages.
JavaScript: is a lightweight, cross-platform, and interpreted compiled programming language which is also known as the scripting language for webpages.
SASS: ( Syntactically Awesome Style Sheet) is a CSS pre-processor that is fully compatible with every version of CSS. It is a scripting language (like JS) that is compiled to CSS in the browser.
Typescript: TypeScript is an Open Source Object Oriented programming language developed and maintained by Microsoft Corporation. TypeScript is a strongly typed language and its first version was introduced in 2012.
Angular: Angular is a client-side TypeScript based, front-end web framework by Google. Angular is a great, reusable UI (User Interface) library for the developers which help in building attractive, steady, and utilitarian web pages and web application.
And much more...
