About Online News Portal Project Moving on, this online news portal project in PHP CodeIgniter focuses mainly on dealing with the website’s content regarding its posts, news categories, banner, etc. Also, the system displays all the available news details, website settings, menus, sub-menus, and so on. In addition, the system allows the managing of sidebar menus and sub-menus too. This project is divided into two categories: Client-Side and Admin Panel. In an overview of this web application, the user can view all the available news on the client-side with its respective headings, images, and contents. Also, there are several categories for the users such as Most popular news, editor’s choice, breaking news, and others. Besides, the users can simply click on any of the posts and view its content with a responsive UI. Admin Panel On the other hand, the admin panel controls the whole website’s setting as it allows the admin to set the website’s detail with their name, domain name, and others. The admin can manage sidebar menus by providing its name with an icon class (font awesome). Similarly, an admin has to manage news categories by entering a category name, which will automatically create a slug name for it. In terms of managing content for the website, he/she has to enter the post’s title, content, select options under the editor’s choice, popular news, featured news, active, and attach an image to it. All the management aspects of this control panel contain search functionalities. Besides, the user can manage banner images; which are shown under a particular post’s background image. The system automatically deletes the image files once a user removes its respective post content. Last but not least, a clean and simple dashboard is presented with various color combinations for greater user experience while using this online news portal project in PHP CodeIgniter Framework. For its UI elements, a free open-source CSS framework; Bootstrap is on board with some Vanilla CSS too.
