A modern and polished weather application template for Android, built with Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.

The app combines a clean weather-focused interface with detailed forecasts, city management, smooth theme transitions, animated UI elements, and Android home-screen widgets. It is designed as a ready-to-customize source-code foundation for developers who want to build their own weather application without starting the UI and architecture from scratch.

The application launches with demo weather data, allowing the complete interface and user experience to be explored immediately without requiring an API key. The project also includes prepared weather data-source and API configuration architecture for connecting live weather services.

Main Experience

The main screen displays the current weather, temperature, condition, feels-like temperature, daily high and low, and hourly forecast.

Additional weather information can be revealed with the built-in gesture-based interface, including a 7-day forecast and detailed weather metrics.

A horizontal swipe provides access to additional city management functionality, allowing users to add and switch between locations.

Themes

The application includes both light and dark themes with a smooth animated transition between them.

The interface is designed around a consistent visual system with gradients, rounded cards, weather icons, subtle shadows, and animated transitions.
