# Mini School Management System

A lightweight, multi-tenant school management system for small to medium schools.

## Features

• **Multi-school support** - Each school registers and manages their own data
• **Class Management** - Create classes with custom monthly fees
• **Student Management** - Add, edit, delete students with class assignment
• **Fee Tracking** - Record payments by month/year, track pending fees
• **Dashboard** - Class-wise summary with collected vs pending

## Requirements

• PHP 8.0+
• MySQL 5.7+
• Web server (Apache/Nginx)

## Installation

### Option 1: CLI Installer (Recommended)

```bash

cd /path/to/mini_school_app

php install.php

```

Follow the prompts to configure your database.

### Option 2: Manual Setup

1. Create a MySQL database
2. Import `database/schema.sql`
3. Configure `.env` with your database credentials:

DB_HOST=127.0.0.1

DB_PORT=3306

DB_USER=root

DB_PASS=your_password

DB_NAME=school_management

APP_DEBUG=true

```

4. Point your web server to the `public` folder

## Usage

1. Visit your domain
2. Register your school
3. Add classes with monthly fees
4. Add students
5. Record fee payments
6. View dashboard and export reports

• Passwords hashed with `password_hash()`
• SQL injection prevented via PDO prepared statements
• XSS prevention via `htmlspecialchars()`
